Xantares from Eternal Fire has always been one of the scariest riflers in CS:GO. Even though he never made it into the top 20 players or won more than one MVP award, many pros were afraid to face him.
This guy would dominate aim maps against players like S1mple, and Device called him the best aimer in the world. His unique playstyle became legendary — the famous "Xantarespeek." The trick? He suddenly jumps out from behind a corner, crouches, and kills his opponent before they even know what's happening. He strafes wide around corners without the typical counter-strafe, but crouches to maximize his accuracy.
Xantares honed his skills for years, racking up nearly 25,000 hours in the game. He’s the leader in FPL wins — with 56% of 2,600 matches won, even surpassing Zywoo.
His aim is just insane: often, one bullet to the head is all it takes. His frag highlights on YouTube have millions of views. The tag "Xantarespeek" became a meme among players, and fans even created similar moves like FerrariPeek and 240km/h peek, each with hundreds of thousands of members.
Even ESL pre-match interviews had fun with it, where Xantares and Woxic were asked to show the peek in real life. Xantares refused, but Woxic happily reenacted the iconic move.
